What is a Thai Massage?

Invented by Buddha’s physician Shivago Komarpaj, this ancient therapy dates back over 2500 year. The Traditional Thai Massage is a healing system that combines acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted stretching.

Its unique techniques focus on circulation and pressure points which are reached through rhythmic pressing movements. It releases tensions, improves blood circulation and frees your body of toxins that gather in tired and overworked muscles.

Performed wearing comfortable, loose style clothing, this traditional Thai massage is usually conducted on a futon. There is a variety of different sequences that are used by our trained therapists, tailored according to your body’s needs.

You may be lying face up, lying face down, seated or on your side. The therapist will use their entire body from hands, elbows, knees, and feet to compress, pull, stretch, and gently rock your body.
